| Where is SBKC? |
| SBKC was founded in Drogheda in 1972,members are primarily from Drogheda, Navan, Dundalk & surrounding areas. Our clubhouse is in Drogheda by the Boyne. |
| When do SBKC meet? |
| Trips every Sunday, usually on the Boyne between Navan & Drogheda and when water levels are suitable we go to Wicklow and various other places. We also meet on Saturday and evenings in the summer months. |
| How do I join? |
| Membership is open all year round if you can swim and are over twelve years of age. Just print & complete the membership form and contact us at info@sbkc.ie |
| What is the age profile of the club? |

Every age.. from juniors who tend to come out during the summer months to middle aged and senior, we paddle all year round so there's always plenty of trips to suit everyone.
| How will I know what's happening? |
| All members of SBKC can receive text alerts for all club activities. |
| Are there courses? |
Beginner courses are organised between June & Sept and club equipment is available on loan for new members SBKC promote Irish Canoe Union proficiency courses, from beginner to advanced.

Whether you have never paddled or are an experienced paddler you're welcome to join the club.
 SBKC run regular introductory or Level 1 Kayak Proficiency Courses.
These courses are ideal for those who have never paddled before and are usually held on the Boyne or on calm flat water during the summer months. The club provide all necessary equipment. |
