The Drogheda Traditional Music & Singing Weekend returns this year from Friday 21st November until Sunday 23rd November, celebrating its 29th year.

Once again the weekend will encompass events throughout Drogheda featuring some of Ireland’s most esteemed traditional singers and musicians as well as a collection of our best local talent as the town comes alive with music, singing, concerts, talks, pub sessions, and a traditional sets céilí.

This year's Headline Concert takes place at 8pm Saturday 22nd November at Droichead Arts Centre and features husband and wife folk duo Zoë Conway and John Mc Intyre who bring exciting blend of eclectic fiddle and guitar music to the stage with sympathetic arrangements of traditional Irish music, compositions and songs, old and new. Support on the night comes from singer and flute player Desi Wilkinson. Originally from Belfast, Desi was a long-term resident of Drogheda before living in far-flung places such as Brittany, Limerick and Newcastle.
