Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s festival will be online, and will ‘go live’ from Saturday, 26th September 2020. The festival will run from 26th September to 26th October 2020.

Featuring some of the country’s most renowned historians, this year’s festival will cover topics such as The Sacking of Balbriggan; The Great War & its Aftermath; Partition, the Border and Armagh; The Royal Irish Constabulary in Louth; W.B. Yeats & 1920.

All the talks — a mix of live talks via Zoom and pre-recorded talks via You Tube — will be available on www.louthhistoryfestival.com from 26th September.
