Battle of the Boyne Estate Oldbridge Drogheda

Outdoor at Oldbridge —  Come and experience all the joy of live theatre in the open-air!

Join us in the beautiful grounds of the Battle of the Boyne Estate, Oldbridge as Chapterhouse Theatre Company perform the classic Jane Austen tale: ‘Sense and Sensibility.’

Adapted by award-winning writer Laura Turner, this exquisite and lively tale charts the romantic antics of sisters Elinor and Marianne Dashwood as they fall in love, make mistakes and experience heartbreak for the first time.

Picnic with family and friends on a summer evening, and follow the sisters as they find their path and lose their hearts, in their quest to find the perfect balance of sense and sensibility.

Recommended arrival time is 5.30pm to allow you to get parked and to find a picnic space. The event will go ahead rain or shine.  Please bring your own rugs or low back seating only, and do consider the weather when dressing for the event.
