The annual Railway Preservation Society of Ireland's trip down memory lane on "The Boyne" Steam Train Excursion takes place this year on Sunday July 21st .
There will be two separate excursions:
The train for Dundalk departs at 11.55 am and arrives back in Drogheda at 12.50 pm, this train, of course takes passengers over the Boyne Viaduct with great views of the town.
The Skerries train departs at 1.45 pm arriving back at 3.35 pm with some great views of the coast.
Tickets are now available from Drogheda Tourist Office. Adults €14, Under 16's €8. Cash only and customers are requested where possible to have the correct change.
These excursions are very popular and sell out quickly. Drogheda Tourist Office in the Tholsel, West Street opens Monday to Saturday 9 am - 5 pm
