A zinemaking workshop with Quasi Collective and Rita Hynes

Calling all zinemakers and music lovers! Rita (Drogheda Zine Fair) and Quasi Collective invite you to a special late‑night get‑together at The Coffee Box.

Hang out and make a collaborative zine inspired by live sets from DJ Clur and General Operative!

This is a relaxed, creative session using music and sound to guide you through the pages of your zine. Recyclable collage materials will be provided but feel free to bring your own photos, ribbons, drawings and whatever else you feel like throwing on the page! By the end of this workshop, you will have your very own zine to take home.

No experience needed - just show up, grab a coffee and take part!

Drogheda Zine Fair is a local celebration dedicated to pushing the boundaries of traditional publishing, building DIY community connections and highlighting alternative zinemaking practices.

Quasi Collective are Clur and General Operative, two djs/musicians who have been involved in the electronic music scene for over four years. They started Quasi Collective because they wanted to try host events to give local and upcoming djs opportunities, build a community based around inclusivity, DIY attitudes and a love for unconventionality through music.

Night Moves is an innovative night time cultural programme led and produced by Droichead Arts Centre, curated by singer/songwriter, SJ McArdle, in collaboration with Drogheda’s Night-Time Economy Adviser and supported by the Drogheda Purple Flag group. Championing a more diverse night-time offering and helping trial what a more balanced evening economy might look like.
