Night Moves Summer Series | Phoeno

Droichead Arts Centre is delighted to present the continuation of the Night Moves Summer Series taking place on Friday 3 July. This series brings a programme of intimate live music events across the summer, set within the relaxed surroundings of our café/bar and gallery space.
Night Moves Summer Series presents PHOENO - a Dublin-based electro indie band. At its core are vocalist Adam Matthews and composer Liam Corbett, whose collaboration began during the quiet uncertainty of lockdown. Running through the empty expanse of Phoenix Park, the pair found a creative refuge where conversations evolved into the foundations of their debut album.
Comfort in the Knowing is a record of reflection, endurance, and quiet transformation. Exploring themes of isolation, friendship, grief, hope, and renewal, it traces the fragile inner landscapes of modern life with a restrained but powerful touch. Much of the album was forged in a small, bitterly cold industrial unit in Dublin 15, where the duo spent years writing, experimenting, and shaping their sound in near seclusion. In that stark space, PHOENO’s identity emerged fully formed—introspective, cinematic, and unflinchingly honest.
Night Moves is an innovative night time cultural programme led and produced by Droichead Arts Centre, curated by singer/songwriter, SJ McArdle, in collaboration with Drogheda’s Night-Time Economy Adviser and supported by the Drogheda Purple Flag group. Championing a more diverse night-time offering and helping trial what a more balanced evening economy might look like.
